Image analysis

In the image above it contains many random objects that have been placed on the image. The objects that can be seen the most are buttons as the are many of them towards the middle of the image. There also is some belt buckles around what appears to be a leaf and they are surrounding it. The most obvious object that is with in the image is the pair of scissors that is the biggest object on the page as most of the other objects on the page are smaller objects such as buttons and Belt buckles. There are also small springs placed in the image as one inside one of the belt buckles and also next to a smaller belt buckle.  As well as so small what look like hinges.
The process that is used to create this image is known as the wet process which involves using photosensitive paper and certain chemicals known as developer, stop and fix. The way they are created is putting the objects on the paper before running the enlarger for a set amount of time which will turn the paper black where there is no object and stay white were there was an object when placed into the developer the areas where there was no object will go black and the other areas will stay white. It then goes into the stop which stops the image getting any darker. Then it goes into the fix so that it can leave the darkroom where the image was created.

In this image there is a Gun which is obviously the main focus point of the photogram as it is the thing in the centre of the image and takes up the most space in the image out of all the objects that are included within this photogram. The other objects in the photogram are different types of jewellery such as a pearl necklace towards the top end of the gun and it looks like it was wrapped around the end of the gun. There are also other necklaces behind the guns like small lockets attached to chains as well as earrings that are placed on opposite sides of the images one at the top and one at the bottom. The gun looks like a flintlock almost similar to a pirate’s gun maybe that’s what this image is meant to represent a pirate because the jewellery can be seen as the treasure the pirate was searching for. The image was made using the same process as the other one the wet process.
